Synopsis

This cmdlet creates a new vSAN disk group backed by the specified devices.

Syntax

New-VsanDiskGroup -VMHost <VMHost> -SsdCanonicalName <String> -DataDiskCanonicalName <String[]> [-Server <VIServer[]>] [-RunAsync] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

This cmdlet creates a new vSAN disk group backed by the specified solid-state device and hard disk devices.

Parameters

Notes

Works only with vCenter Server 5.5 or later.
