Description:

Relocate a VM to a different datastore.

Since version 5.1 modifyVm should be used to relocate vm to a different storage profile. Storage profile can be specified by using VmType and making modifyVm request.

Output parameters

TaskType

This operation is asynchronous and return a task. When the task completes, the VM has been relocated.
